Default Belt CP on a DX8 - which receiver?

Hi, I want to move my Belt CP v1 onto a Spektrum DX8 that I'm buying. What spectrum receiver Do I need a 6 channel receiver or 7 channel receiver? I did put a Futaba Gy401 Gyro on it a while ago but it's been a while since ive flown so I can't recall all the specs I need

You need a 6-channel Rx, unless you have some "extras" in mind. Two cyclic channels, throttle, pitch, rudder and gyro gain.

6-ch orange DMS2 Rx from Hobby King would be a cheap and very adequate alternative for Belt CP, possibly with 1 additional satellite Rx for signal diversity:

I have that one on mine, without a satellite. Gives a ground-range of about 100m on "range-check" on the DX6i so I never bothered with a satellite.
