Furion 450 fbl
I just seen a picture of a beam e4 V2 , just wondering if anyone has tried this "head" on a furion 450 ? I'm just in the process of converting the stock head to fbl.

I emailed MA a few months back, they replied back saying they are working on the whiplash release, and the 450 fbl was in the works I'm converting the stock head on my furion, just wondering how other people have secured the washout hub?

I drilled and tapped mine on both sides and used some arms from a trex 450 head. It works great.
If you are interested I can post a pic.

I am looking into fbl options and I think I will just use the outrage g5 swash driver.

When I converted my furion 450 I converted the stock wash out arms for the swash drivers.

FBL head system. This is one part I would love to see MA make. As a matter of fact it could come out of the box that way and I think most people would be pleased. That would end having to put brand X heads or custom conversions on the 450. They just fly so much better that way because winds don't get at the small heli as much.

What bolt did you get to go through the washout arms? I've got a 2mm bolt through mine, but notice that there is some play in them. Some of the original bolts, with a tad more thread on them would be great. just wondering if the play is bad.

I used shouldered bolts from a Align kit part# AGNHZ0271. I filed it down to the proper length, I'll post pics if I can figure out how to down load them.

My Furion 450 sure flies nice with a flybar....does it make that much difference converting it over to FBL? I've got a FBL controller on the way, so I guess I'll find out.

I just tried my Furion 450 FBL....works nice with a 3G, cheap servos, cheap motor, cheap esc.......dang. Imagine how nice it'd be with good servos, good motor and good esc......
