Default White gears??
Hey guys.
Just ordered some new crown and pinion gears for the tail of my x7. I also ordered the "pinion" for the crown as an assembly woth the bearing and it is black.
The other gears I received are both white.
Have I got older stock or have they changed the colour, and why?

The white gears are actually the newest gears. I heard the white is easier to QC then the black.

Expanding on what Matt said I heard that the black die was causing structural issues with the gears so they changed to white for the new ones. Pretty sure that was the ordeal but not 100%
