Default Logo 500 size compared to Protos

I am wanting to move up in size.
I have a Protos 500 which takes 430mm blades.
The Logo 500 comes with 532mm blades in the kit.

Is the Logo 500 a bigger heli or is the boom just longer?

I know this is a newb question .

Thanks,
Moto

It's a bigger heli.

The Logo 500 has the same body as the Logo 600 but a shorter boom.

Thanks Man.

Just wanted to make sure I was going up in size. These Heli size numbers are confusing.

It's lots larger, you can run up to 560mm mains on Logo 500 and 6s 5000.

If you have seen the Align 550, a stock Logo 500 is even larger than that by a bit. It is a close comparable in size to the Align 600 but much lighter than both.

Only helis I've seen in person are the ones I own, Protos being the biggest then the Mini Protos. Noone within 50 miles that I know of flies them or planes for that matter. I never looked very hard for other people tho. I use this hobby to kill time between Motocross weekends since I am semi-retired.

Anyway thanks for the info, Logo 500 will probably be my next and last move up the size chain. Too much in parts and batteries any larger. The Logo 500 parts don't look like they come cheap!

Take a look at ReadyHeli.com Logo 500se super combo. It's a pretty amazing deal at $879, all you need is a receiver.

Maybe if you are on the waiting list too; maybe it'll get into stock sooner. (I'm on the waiting list )

that is not the "500SE". just a straight logo500. and yes its a really good deal. although a 100A ESC and a 15 tooth pinion is really needed.

Whenever the Super combo is back in stock that would be my first choice new .Used is really where I am looking simply for the price. That is the downside to being semi-retired. Upside of course is 3 or 4 flying days a week and still race the dirt bike on the weekend.
If I had 100 grand more in my account I would have it made .
