Default My first tail FET replement

Attach the picture before and after.

I use the 7A version of the FET suggested by superjet.
Digikey is super fast on shipping. I order at Friday afternoon
and receive in Monday.

The soldering is not too bad at all. There is a small piece of the
trace pad was missing, I bridge it with a small section of solid wire.
Other than that, it is very straight forward.

The heli test fly fine.

Great work , Instead of the wire bridge ,you could have soldered the fet leg to the left side of the resistor just below the fet

Thanks. But the missing pad is in the top of the FET. So moving the FET down
does not seem to help. Not much room for moving it up either.

What I meant was flow the solder from the fet leg to the resistor,no pad needed
