Thumbs up great work

well done on the model it is superb.

I have been trying to change the colour in RMK so that it matches my own canopy which is the red version. Could anyone give me some hints on how to do this please?

Once again thanks for the great work.

regards

Hi, Mrhelichopper, glad you like it. When edit the model in RMK, you will see /tex sub folder in your Reflex installation directory, and find tex5.bmp file. This is bitmap file related to canopy color.

If you try it, you need to adjust other color too, related to some mesh in canopy that not be mapping to that bitmap file, eg: in top of canopy.

Cheers.

Talking Very Cool

Is the Real thing as ballistic as this sim model??
It's one of the best sim model I've flown in XTR. A great effort.

Question

Love the Sims but I'm having a problem with getting the sims into Reflex. I get to the window that asks for the appearance but get an error message about the file. Anyone have any advice?

Hi, Cliozeek

1. For import a model, unzip all single file to ANY directory,.....
2. Just open *.par included (T-Rex 500.par) in text editor like Notepad,...and see this:

Align\t500\t500blue
Align\t500\T-rex 500

its mean (this is a heli model),so all file must be in folder Reflex\Heli\Align\t500\*.*,.......
3. Make that directory and move all your unzipped file there
4. If you get any appereance error, see POST#1 in this thread, press (F5) to bring model paramater setting, and change model appeareance to MOD file in your ANY folder your created instead above (value in *.par file; opened in Notepad).

Sorry for my bad english.

Cheers.

Question

Thanks for the heads up but I still get an error message "Eror reading the model appearance data file". My directory for the models are as follows: Program Files/REFLEX/Heli/ALIGN/t500. Any suggestions?

t500blue.MOD
t500white.MOD
T-Rex 500.par
T-rex 500.wav
t-rex 500_.wav

These are the files in this directory

Press F5, and see the appereance that directly to MOD file related,..... maybe this leave blank for some reason,.....

PS:
1. you can change that appeareance for other PAR file, eq, PAR file of Raptor heli with appereance of Trex heli
2. this directory location is for 5.03 of Reflex, in 5.04, i think it in Mydocuments\Reflex\Heli\...
