Default Esky Belt Cp with aftermarket reciever

Hi all i purchased a belt cp rtf over a month ago and have never flown it due to there being issues with the electronics out of the box. Anyways instead of replacing the standard parts with the same, i picked up a Venom speed control and a generic 6 channel receiver to use, but what i have found is that with the esky transmitter centre stick is half throttle, the stick all the way up is 0 throttle and all the way down is full throttle so is not much help with collective pitch. Can anyone tell me what i may be able to do to fix it, as i presume that centre stick neutral throttle is controlled by the standard receiver or there is a problem with the transmitter as well! which wouldnt surprise me, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Scott

Hi all, yeah did that and it reverses the pitch mixing as well, anyways i am new to helis,am i correct in thinking that centre stick on the throttle is neutral throttle and 0 pitch or is all the way down neutral, as all the way down takes it into negative pitch?

Cheers

Only in idle up mode. Pitch should be at or close to "0" with the throttle/collective all the way down.

Try swapping the channels of the aileron and the pitch servos(ch 1 & 6) then play around with the reversing switches.
