The AR7100 rev limiter works very well.... I would just keep it and use the MPG on your next heli.

I think the point was that he wanted to use the MGP's mixture control, so it'll be on the heli anyway.

You could still save the MGP for another heli and opt for a CarbSmart on this one.

It should, but you'd have to do some rewiring (swap the + and - leads in the connector, I believe). Personally, I'd use the backplate sensor: you don't need to verify the magnet clearance every time you pull the engine out of the heli and you run a much lower risk of destroying the sensor in a crash.

That is correct. Swap the red and black wires. You will also need to put on a standard servo connector.

It's plug and play. Simply remove two of the engine backplate bolts, run them through the sensor bracket, and screw them back into the crankcase. There's also a screw on the bracket to adjust the proximity of the sensor to the backplate. With the stock plastic bracket on my OS 50, I needed washers on the bolts between the bracket and the backplate because I couldn't pull the sensor far enough back to keep the bracket from flexing. You can get a third party aluminum bracket that eliminates the need for the washers and is much more robust than the stock plastic one.

Mine's butted right up against the backplate, but some other people have had to move it back a little.

BTW, here a link to the aluminum brackets: http://www.alumafx.com/webstore/

Yes it will.... most gov sensors will work except the GV-1 sensor. Thats the only one I know that is different and only works with the GV-1.

Hi All! I'm getting my T-Rex 700 and my questions 1. Can I use the "Switch Mount" (Manual - Item 94 Pg41) to place the servo for the mixture control 2. If yes, anyone have the size of that slot and recommended servo that can fit into it? 3. Approx length of the servo connector rod? Many thanks.

The Trex700 frame already has a place for mixture control servo! No mods needed. It is made for a HS65 servo size (mini). Link length I dont know but I used a long link from a Trex450.

Just wanna ask if you have a video of a multigov that is already set-up on your heli and do the test flight? would you choose limiter rather than gov?
