Also on the Futaba Flyers Club website.

from the Futaba RC website.

Please note: our software engineers are currently coding additional software which will further optimize the use of your TM-14 module. The completion date is expected to be January 08, 2008. We suggest that you once again update the software at that time to take advantage of the latest optimization.

The updates are so you could use the 2.4 ghz modules and receivers. You do not need the updates to use 72 mhz or other bands.

take off the MODEL folder from the card and backit up somewhere on your pc.

Put the folder UPDATE in the card

Turn the little update switch (beside the card slot on my 12z)

insert the card into the radio and power up

the update should commence

when completed, take off the card and delete the update folder, put back your MODEL folder and turn the switch back to normal position.

Be sure your battery is charged though.

PS. This is all according to my 12z instructioons, but 14mz should be no different.

I have been having problems with my sprectrum module in my 14mz. The elevator and rudder servos are getting mixed somehow. put the pcm back in and everything is fine. Could this update help with this?

No the update will not correct any problems that are being seen when using a Spektrum brand 2.4ghz module in a Futaba 14MZ.

The update is for using Futaba 2.4 ghz module and receivers with the 14MZ.

So what is the latest software update for the 12Z? Mine hasn't been updated since it was converted to 2.4, a long time ago already. I guess if I had a 14MZ then I could go to the Flyers Club site and find out for myself, LOL.
