Default Wiring Pics - Electronics ... where did you put it all ?

Where is everyone putting there electronics ?

I'm running sbus receiver which i'm planning on the side of the frame.

Trying to get the vbar and sensor on the top plate.

Any wiring pics ?

Also , can the sensor be mounted off center ?

Just make sure you can still plug in your USB connector to the V-Bar controller. Yes, the sensor can be mounted off center as you have yours, also make sure that you put the canopy on and make sure it's not making contact with the sensor since it's offset.

Here's how I have done my wiring. Notice I had to place my controller on top of my TM1000 telemetry module so I still have access to the port.

Being in center never matters. Only that's its square to frames and shaft.

Thanks for the input , this tray is a little bit smaller than the 800 so takes a bit more to get a plan togeather.

I added the bar across between the posts which makes thing harder also.

Also thought about mounting box upside down and using a mini V 90 degree connector .

Bring on the pics

I ran the electronics inside the frame and came through the top plate. The wires are routed through holes with grommets. The sensor is mounted on the lower plate on top of a carbon plate I made.

as suggestion I would remove the braiding at least an inch or two back from sensor itself, this can induce vibrations causing ill effect. Also would place the spektrum satts "outside" of the frame for less chance of frame loss, otherwise neat.

Nice pics.

Another thing i noted :

ESC palcement ..

Is it better to have the fets facing up ( caps down )

Or the other way around ?

I did some wiring tonight , went with the off set sensor route allowing clearance for the usb cable.

Did you add the additional frame spacer to work as a stiffener?

I've been doing this for years. , way back when i was killing my old 450v2 , the frames got badly mangled after 2 crashes ( this ca trick only works so well and crashing it again isn't the answer .. lol ) . So rather than replace both frames i did the thin ca trick to help with the frames and put the brace across. Figured i had one last kick at those frames , well the brace saved it a few times

I added the extra cross brace between the posts.

The reason is if you get a hit there the bolt will rip a hole in the frame plate , with the extra spacer the bolt will get bent (up to 45 degrees i've done ) with low chance of hole in frame , mabye mangling the frame plates a little (saveable)..

Anyone of you guys running V-Bar and a JR DMSS system? I could use a little inspiration for the electronics placement in the back of my 700. Using a JR RG831B receiver. Since I have added an additional frame stiffener, I do also need to place the RX in a special way next to the V-Bar unit.

Thanks,

Might need to side mount it like i did my futaba receiver.

Granted the 6203 os a tiny receiver but there's still more room there for a larger unit

It does fit on the inside of the frame next to the V-Bar. It does need to be placed on its side though. Did you need an extension running the ESC cable under the main gear like that?

The esc lines are stock length that comes with kit , including the gov extension lead

Maby if the vbar is on edge.

I have mine offset so there isn't any pressure or pulling on the vbar sensor wire leading away from sensor.

It is sandwhicked between 2 layers of 2 sided tape along sode of vbar box.

I wanted to put vbar box on edge but the canopy post bar got in the way.
