Bad solder joint in your wiring maybe like a short. 4in1 is spazzing out.

I had exactly the same problem with my bee about a year ago. It was flying great. And then it would just shut down and drop from the sky! Got worse at time progressed. I bought a new 4 & 1 and never had a problem again.

Also experiencing the same thing, however am leading towards a simple radio glitch...

Things could be different for you though.

X2...inspect solder joints on actual main motor as well as wiring all the way back to the 4in1 for any sort of damage.
Then try to duplicate the event on the ground, if possible fix the helicopter to a work bench or something similar, spool it up around the same power as you would in normal flight.
See if you can tell if it's loosing total power or main motor only.

Depending on how confident you are with electrical components and you have isolated the issue to be in the 4in1 there are directions on here on how to take it apart.
Look for any kind of broken solder joint, try not to touch the actual board as much as possible with out being grounded as ESD ( electrical static discharge) is a real thing and can cause immediate as well as long term damage to the board.

I know sounds crazy, and most people have know idea about ESD, but it is unbelievable how much damage it can do and you wouldn't even know until it fails a month, 2 months, 5 months ect later.

So you have tested enought to feel confident saying it ONLY happens during real flight?

Had that happen on many occasions with a V2. Thought it was the 4in1 (RX) but turned out to bee the brand new TX. Binded an old TX and all is perfect since.

I really hope your problems go away from the antenna, but there are many accounts of us freaks flying long lengths of time at far distances with no antenna at all!!

Has never seemed to make a diference whether it was there or not!

But agian for your sake I reallly hope that works.
