Default Tail Blades proper spinning direction

Guy's i am used to having my main blades spinning clockwise and the tails spinning counter clockwise, however i just noticed that the tails are spinning clockwise as well, is this correct? Also, what direction should the tail blades be installed?

Hi DaweMD,
On the Torque Tube version of the N5C and the N7 the tail rotor will rotate clockwise, the tail blades should be installed with the leading edge of the blades in the direction of rotation.

Hope this helps, if I can help any further just give me a shout.
Cheers,
Ross

Why is that? I just noticed that too, that the tail is going clockwise. I thought you always wanted the tail to go up or against the down wash of the main rotor.

That is actually just an old myth. There are no negative effects to a clockwise tail.

As for why the Nitro TTs on the Synergy rotate clockwise, it's because the auto gear is under the main gear so the transmission is rotated 180 degrees. Letting the tail rotate clockwise keeps the parts compatible with the other Synergy models and limits the "unique" parts counts.
