sk 540
I just ordered the sk540 for trex 450 pro. It had a beastx in it before. I'm using hs65mg on cyclic. Will the analog cyclic servos be OK to use it do I have to go with digitals? Any setup videos available? What mounting tape are you guys using?

Setup videos at the top in the Sticky threads.
Grey 3m tape should work fine. Too new to the 540 to answer the servo question.

Yes. I've seen the software setup video. You can specify analog or digital for the cyclic servos. As well as the speed they are. Which are .14 at 4.8v and .11 at 6v.

Analog servos will work, however they won't be as crisp as digitals. Digitals are much better at holding center, and provide full torque throughout the full arc. Analogs can't hold center as well, and only provide full torque while at full throw.
As far as mounting, I talked to alot of pros at IRCHA, and through my experience I agree with them. The sk540 likes to be hard mounted, the harder the better. It's incredibly vibration resistant, if not even close to vibration "immune" (can't be 100% obviously,) but I've heard you can even hard mount them to nitros. I even noticed a slight difference going from gyro tape to thin double sided... just that little bit crisper. I met a pilot at IRCHA who actually glued his sk540 to his frame on an x7.. flew freakin' amazing.
