=] reported this to SK, will let you know the outcome, might mean logs need sending in, so keep them!

Can anyone confirm this is with the 540 as well or just the 720?

I finally did some flying on my new heli today, and I now have this tail twitch too. With vibe logging on, there is a noticeable twitching of the tail on my heli during hover after upgrading to 3:15 firmware. It stops when I turn all logging off. This is a 720

The helis and firmware and twitch:

Logo 500 - 3.15, Playback - Ok
Goblin 630 - 3.15, Vibe - Twitch
Srimok 90 - 3.15, Playback - Ok
Trex 550 - 3.12, Playback - Ok
Whiplash - 3.15, Vibe - Twitch

I thought we had gain issues on the two twitchers but its set very low with no change.
I had a look at the Goblin today and made some adjustments to the mechanical tail setup. This reduced the twitch but it didn't go away. The SK is set to playback too. There are a few more mechanical things to test bofore I'm willing to say this is a software problem. I haven't had access to the Whippy again, should test it next weekend.

I had my compass 500 with a 540 out in some really good winds.

No tail twitch. My understanding is there is no logging on the 540...

I'm having tail twitching issues on my Gaui 200 which also roughly correspond to when I upgraded to 3.15 (didn't pay close enough attention to timing). Mechnically, I don't see any issues, although I replaced just about everything just in case. I'll try turning off (playback) recording.

Turning off playback recording didn't help for me. Mechanically it seems OK. I'm going to try a new more powerful servo ... current servo has about 300 flights on it.

We tested the Goblin again today - with any kind of logging enabled we got a twitch. With logging off the tail is solid and we were able to turn up the gain. So there is a definite twitch in 3.15.

Another SK540 owner/user experiencing the same issue on my Rave Ballistic. Logging OFF no bobble with all my h/s i.e. 1700, 2050 and 2150. Logging ON bobble appears on the lower h/s 1700 and 2050. The bobble seems to disappear at 2150. It maybe still there but just slower and/or with smaller amplitude to notice it easily..

sorry to drag up an old thread but is this effecting the sk540 then? I think mine has gained a twitch a 2100rpm after loading 3.15! This was with the stock foam and strangely enough after hard mounting it with a firm foam pad the twitch has gone! This indicates tail vibs at this rpm screwing with the gyro but the twitch in this thread seems to be a bug.
