Just cause Mr Mel says its OK doesn't mean its right. He is not associated with kontronik in any way. Again I go back to the seat belt example. Also all electronic systems are different just because it works with yours doesn't mean it will work with everyone's.

I've never had any issues with the jive series.

But in know of a few with the Kosmik, and other brand esc's with bec's needing the ring.

Will be interesting to see how the new jive series handles without the ring on with the hv Bec
