Good news: The wind has calmed down enough to continue the speed flights. Of course there was a rush because the contest had to end at 1.30 pm.

Miles 5th attempt: Not valid
Miles 6th attempt: 269 km/h
Frank was not able to fly (defective motor and controller).

And finally: A happy Miles and his father Peter after "the flight of flights" (283,6 km/h / 176.26 mi/hr)

Congrats! I have only seen a little bit of speed flying in real life but it definitely gave me an appreciation of what's involved. It's pretty scary actually!
