I can confirm that there is a lead weight in the leading edge of these blades.
I can also confirm that one of them ejected in a crash. I would not recommend these blades. See this thread for pics. https://www.helifreak.com/showthread...89#post6936889

I guess they tried to just epoxy the lead in there. Shame.
Suppose I'll stick with Rails then.

Freaky freaky! I will continue to fly them. Just further away!
I still have my RAIL 626's to slap on there and just have to crank the headspeed back up. -Markus |

FWIW I have flown these blades and seen them crash in the past. I was quite surprised to see a totally hollow design as well as no safety wire so after that I went to a second pair and tried to squeeze it with my thumb. Sure enough the blade is quite flexible as well so I am not very comfortable with them when it comes to structural design. Other than that, for smooth flying or sport flights they should be good, but for hard 3D you may experience problems with hard cyclic and collective stops plus an added risk of in-flight failure.

The fact they're hollow doesn't bother me.
I'd just like to see the lead weight restrained somehow. A strand of Kevlar would be nice.

On 2 helis I have tried these blades (Goblin 630 w/ 660mm and Logo 600SX w/ 620mm) I have had negative tendencies that I couldn't tune out and that disappeared with another set of blades. Of course this is my personal opinion, for someone else on another setup, they may fly very well and feel just right. Now for the structural design issues, when the blade is hollow, more flexible and the lead weight is not secured well, it is more likely to have a failure in my opinion and I would prefer not to take that added risk. As always though, YMMV.
