Coming along. I've got the motor, servos, and FBL mounted and wired. Mounted the ESC, but I think that I'm going to reroute the wiring. Just need to secure the wiring and I'm waiting on my LiFe battery to get here. I hope to get her tested and somewhat dialed in on Sunday. Thanks for asking.

Thanks! I tested her out Sunday, but couldn't do more than hover and a little slow moving since I left my dang flight box at home and couldn't make adjustments to a few things. It sounds amazing and is so smooth though. I can't wait to actually fly it. Here's some more pics with my other canopy.......

Not sure about the Kosmic, but i would assume it will fit as it fits the TDR/Diabolo.

Mine seems to like it's X-ERA 4530.....

I'll go grab my Kosmik 160, and see if it fits.

I assume you want to mount it underneath, as the instructions state. Or, were you just thinking about sticking it on the side, somehow...???

I should be able to get a picture...

I have a 4535 in mine, of course I haven't come close to pushing it yet. But, other than cutting off part of the shaft, it should be fine.... BUt, I thought I heard the drivetrain wasn't able to handle the super strong motors, But I assue that has more to with correct gear mesh, but, I could be wrong....

As long as you run the pinion support and the gear mesh is correct there should be no problem [just like any other heli]..... I would not run anything bigger then the recommended stock motor without the support though personally.

Here's some pics.
To use the Kosmik, and have it flat on bottom, you'd have to sand off approx 2mm from the rear landing strut.

Doesn't fit on the front.... Just in case you were thinking of it.

But, in a pinch it would fit where I have my ESC mounted, in fact it looks like two of the rear tail boom screws look like they line up perfectly. The problem, to have it sit flush, you have have to take one of the screws out.

Usually with the 4530 X-ERA you have to trim the motor shaft anyways so i think you'll be fine. You're going to love this heli, smooth , quiet and extremely fast!

Couple pics of mine to spur you on........
