That actually does look like a mean little heli. I generally have zero interest in Blade helis, as I am still scared from the Blade CP Pro 2 back in '08... but this has peaked my interest.

What radio will this heli come with? I would imagine it would be the DX6i at the very least.

Yup, BNF only with this bird, that's Blade's way of saying "Not for beginner pilots". If you include a Tx it leads people on that it's a good starter heli. I am interested in this just because I can fly in a field that's a minute from my house and batteries should be cheap.

I would not have guessed this at all ... I thought that luxury was reserved for tiny helis with almost no mass like the mCPX.

My buddy once planted his MS Hornet inverted and only broke an $11 auto sleeve, he was flying again a few minutes later. It is luck of the draw but it is possible to crash with very little damage even with the 300 class helis

Good point about the radio. I guess its out for me, I can't see my self buying a second radio just for a little heli. I have a Mcpx, but I just use the DX5e that came with Phoenix.

Think about it. They can be had for $314. Subtract $239 for the AR7200BX and you have a $75 heli that also includes a battery and charger than you can sell off.

Well we'll see about this one...depends how good the servos are really
not a bad price considering the 7200BX is $239 !!

From my short experience with a Gaui X2 , that size will pretty much auto destroy in a crash , maybe with plastic parts it's not so bad , my X2 had a hard landing /tip over and it cost me $60 in parts , I have this love / hate thing with micro helis even my Mcpx , mostly hate ...

Rick
I have crashed a trex 250 three times in one pack and only broke a spindle on the third crash.
Should be similar.
The 250 had plastic blades and really took a beating.

I think it would be hard for some one who flies a 700 or a 600 and then by one of these and try and fly it. i would need telescopes on my eyes to see it. Granted if I do crash it is much less then my 600 or 700 would be that is for sure. But i use to have a b400 and it was awesome, probably one of thee funnest helis I have ever had.

The gym? Isn't that what the mcpx is for?

well.. our gyms are big... and also we fly in golf domes. So a 300 is perfect... no doubt much better for experienced pilots.. with BeastX and all.
