Default Main blade choices

I don't see much choices for main blades for 300x. Its 245mm or we can use others?

The Honey Bee CP used 246mm blades, quite a few available online - you'd need to check the root thickness and bolt hole size

FWIW these worked with the SR, not sure if SR = 300X in that respect

If the sab 255 blades work then the Gaui blades will be a cheaper alternative...
Only 30 bucks not 40... still pricey but not as bad... If your looking for carbon blades im sure you dont crash often anyways so the 30 bucks wont be bad...

The Gaui X2 blades have a thinner root, so you might have to shim them. In order to use the SAB blades on the X2, they needed to be sanded down.

Should see a lot better flight times as well with those light blades.. Along with better (less) disc loading..

Unsurprisingly, my 300X flys way more stable than with the wooden ones.
Shims are the ones from the original tail-blades; but could be slightly thicker.
Tail servo blew when I slipped off my plastic landing place & hit the edge with the blades,...

Upgraded to the Hitec HSG-5084MG tail stands now rock-solid

You can see the big difference in weight because the woodies are designed for FBL and are weighted. Wonder when aftermarket FBL blades will become available?

i highly dont know about that... its a nice theory but its more likely they are just heavier cause they are wood... i dont think your gonna notice a difference in fb vs fbl blades on this size on heli...

Hubschrauberpilot, very nice look on your 300 X and I see you have the option CF tail fins installed too.

Did you have any photo's showing the stock main blades next to the SAB main blades?

These dont look to bad either: http://helidirect.com/miroheli-250mm...ro2-p-6168.hdx
They are 250mm so a lil closer to stock size but I order a set of both to try them out as well.

What about blades for the SR? It came stock with 245mm's like the 300x, but there's some Xtreme 235's that are made for the SR:

Everyone seems to like them on the SR. I think I'll order a pair to try. At $7. why not.
