Default Newbee Question on CX2 take off

I just got myself a CX2 to play with! Got it bound to my DX8 after lots of research. So the problem is when I wind up slowly for a gently take off. Right when it gets ready to lift off it rolls to the right, hard into the dirt. If I punch the throttle and make it jump into the air it seems to fly good. Maybe some very slight drift to work out when in flight. After braking a rotor blade trying to take off slowly I figured I had better ask for help! Any ideas on how to solve this issue? Is this a normal characteristic of this heli?

I have a similar issue with my msrx. I'm no expert but the swashplate is out of level after landing or crash in my case. So now I take the time to check it before take-off. That seems to be working for now. My mcx2 does not have this issue that I am aware of, but I usually max the throttle out on takeoff anyway.

I will check swash plate level and try again as soon as I get some blades. I saw another thread on how to do it! Thanks

Take off fast. The prop wash has an effect near the ground. Don

I have A similar issue, one time it would love to rock forward hard and that was fixed by shortening the servo alarm the controls forward Pitch the side to side wanting to tip over was fixed by leveling the swashplate never underestimate the need to always check your Swashplate

Waiting on parts to show up this week. Can't wait to attempt leveling the swash plate and try it again!

If you did not put it down too hard nothing should be broken. My msrx acted up again. Unbind then rebind fixed it up nice, not sure why. I do agree with taking off fast.
