I did not know there was a larger then normal canopy when I ordered a extra with the kit. I get this huge thing and was puzzled. Are you talking the 2.0 screws? not too many of those or the 2.6?

the non-driven tail is a huge advantage if all you do as an average flyier is auto-land from 1 meter height. It hangs very, very well, and the biggest plus is ZERO tail strikes even in windy conditions. Landing a driven tail 450 in same conditions for me used to be a "wait for the right moment" thing.

I was annoyed at this as well...Here's THE solution

Let them snap off. Put a drop of CA on it, and stick it right back onto the base it broke from. Let it sit, then put a bead of ShoeGoo around the joint the CA is on. Let the ShoeGoo dry, then go fly. The CA will break, and the ShoeGoo is still enough to still hold the canopy mount erect with the canopy on it. In a crash, they litterally fold over, and pop out of the canopy. They have yet to break again and they've been buried into the ground hard two times now!

The larger canopies are not OEM ... don't blame Compass for this if you get confused by it.

CANOPY STANDOFFS:

They were designed to be fragile. I can't tell you how many times they saved my canopy and my airframe. If you want ones that won't break, RCBooya now has Quick Release mounts available, be warned that you might be sacrificing your side frames, which is a lot more costly and time consuming to deal with.

The only time I've had the stock posts break was during my actual crashes. And I'm glad they broke. I had/have spares on hand and they are quick and easy to replace.

I don't like the rotorhead design, It flys very well, but crashes bad. Destroys the servo gears. Linkages are oversized.

The servo arm stiffeners for the ailerin servos are unnesesary IMO, but on the elevator servo arm it's good to use, because it reduces the swashplate twisting.

I almost forget, the worst thing about the warp is I sold it

Default Whats BAD about the warp?

First time I got to land on grass over my landing pad or hard surface. Did a mini auto and it tipped over because of uneven ground. Blades were not going fast so hopefully the servos are fine. My x3 and 300x no problem.

I have about 100 flights on my Warp now, and for me its just like flying the simulator

I call it my no fear flying machine, and I am making so much progress lately. Any trick that works on my Warp I transfer to my new 6HV Ultimate.

It will fly at any headspeed you want. Its very precise and has a lot of power. (I have a Scorpion in mine)

Only trouble I had was a bit of a nervous tail. But that problem was solved by ditching the Align DS525 servo. I now have an MKS 8910 A+ on the tail. Its rock solid and will handle anything you throw at it.

I have had a Warp since last year and have failed to find anything wrong with it.

This was so disturbing that I have acquired a second one.

I will endeavor to find something wrong with it, but I don't have much hope of doing so...

Once you learn the most effective methods for repairs it becomes very easy to fix and maintain.

Hmm... negative? It isn't bigger?

Does not need to be bigger, that is why I have the 6hv Ultimate

Send from my T8FG in an inverted hurricane with my 6hvU.

the bad and the good at the same time:

1.) the bad: the price for the canopy standoffs is far from beeing nice. for the price there should be at least 4 standoffs in a bag.
the good: the fragile canopy standoffs are great and help keeping damage from other parts.

2.) the bad: no tuning parts beside a small part for the tail. i love upgrading... i have a 130X for this :-)
the good: no tuning or upgrades needed. this heli is just awesome.

The best thing about compass helicopters is that they need no upgrading

I can add a BAD thing about the warp 360 : No support in France whatsoever, heck its pretty hard to find compass parts here, the only retailer that has compass, still has the warp 360 and 6HVU on preorder
Thats actually the main reason I don't have one yet, as I like the mostly belt design and certainly love it's size compared to my mini (360's on 6S).

try www.rigidheli.com.

Great service and shipping from Netherlands to France is not a problem.

Very interesting thread. I'm looking for a replacement for the Align 450 and after reading all of the posts it will be the Warp 360.
