I just didn't know if Align is now building the tail boom with a built in option so you don't have to do the mod. Thanks.
The tail boom is pinned as a standard. No mod needed

The one with the fan is a Power Jazz. I am going to run the Jive 120HV.

Work got it the way of life, and on top of that, it is pouring rain in Taiwan today...
Should finish the build today though...

That's nice!! THANKS FOR THE ANSWER. I sold my 700n a while back so my memory is fuzzy. Do you know if the tail is pinned also or is the tail assembly just a pinch fit? Thanks.

Any idea if a Scorpion motor fits? Do we need any frame modifications?

Tail is pinned with the stabilizer mount, as on the regular 700N.

It should as long as it is 30 mm mount/M4 and with a 6 mm axle.
The included 700 M motor is pretty darn powerful though...

The canopy standoffs look similar to the 700N would be nice if they are because then the rcbooya mounts will go strait on

I find it gob smackingly bad that in today's world they STILL don't have thrusted main bearing blocks as standard.

PS. That shot of those two pallets full of kits... mech-gasmic

That was fun. Got the heli all together and set up last night...

All up weight 4.8 kg with Jive 120HV and 5000 Zippys.

It will get in the air later

Certainly is a clean and tidy looking heli.
Did you shorten the Servo wires or are they tucked away somewhere?

Didn't shorten the wires. It is only the aileron/pitch servos that are somewhat long. They tuck in nicely in the electronics tray though.
