Default Arming ESC (Astroid mild)???

Hello everybody....I just got me a DX6i but I'm having trouble arming the ESC on my Astroid Mild BL install. It is binded properly, I just can't get the ESC to arm with the DX6i, and I can't figure out why. I just binded my DX4 back to it and the ESC armed just fine.

Somebody help me out.

It's probably in GOV SET-UP mode if you were using a DX4 with it. What type of throttle curve do you have set in your DX6i?

Try setting your throttle curves to a linear curve and arm the ESC like you did with your DX4. I'm assuming you plugged in the battery, waited for the three ascending tones, raised the throttle and lowered it to get the two arming tones and then flew raising the throttle again?

Ok thanks NCcraig, that worked. I wanted to use a linear curve, so any idea why the ESC works that way???

Like I said before, it is probably in GOV SET-UP mode where the head speed is already set in the ESC. That is the best way to use the ESC with a non-computerized TX like the DX4i. You can switch it over to a different GOV mode with your TX or if you have a tool stick.
