Default Confused on how to power the tx.

So I got my fpv equipment and I soldered it straight onto the frame of my quad and was hoping if I could wore it through a servo lead that plugs into my ar8000. But I don't know if I should wire it with ground and positive, since the rx for the fpv is only black and red (ground and positive) do I wire it like that's onto my servo plug and leave out negative.

See in the attached image between AILE and ELEV the -+ and then that other symbol is the signal wire. That means ground on top and power in the middle. Although you should see what voltage your fpv tx is expecting. Receiver outputs 5 volts but your fpv tx might need more voltage like being connected straight to your battery. You'll have to check out the specs on it

Mine is wired to the quad directly but I did add a toggle switch so I could turn of the VTX when not flying FPV or what I do- get the quad on, let the GPS get locked on while I set up chair and ground station, check my goggles to make sure no one is using my freq, then flip the switch to turn on the VTX and then
