Default 520 Ultimate vs. 520 F3C

What's the difference between my Scorpion 4525-520kv Ultimate edition and this 4526-520kv f3c edition that I won at a fun fly yesterday? I see the f3c edition is supposed to more efficient but idk if it'd be more so than my current Ultimate. I've seen the specs on both the motors, that's not what I'm asking.. I'm hoping someone may have had the chance to try both to give some educated opinions and observations on both. Thanks for your time helping me figure out what I want to do!

My 520F3C is just as powerful and perhaps even more consistent in power delivery than my 520 ultimate. It is also about 20g lighter. The only downside i've noticed is that it runs hotter than the ultimate.

I will probably replace the ultimate with a second 520F3C.

+1

I haven't received mine yet but I know someone who has tried them both and said the same stated above minus the heat thing. I haven't heard that from him.

My 4525 vs 4526 weight using identical 4mm bullets:

4525-520 Ultimate, 504.6g
4526-520 F3C, 477.1g

I've just pulled my 4526 to check the bearings. The lower one was very stiff and the inner race has scored the shaft badly. I've replaced it and will report back if temps improve.

My 520f3c is awesome but runs BLAZING hot. Temps above 240°..... any suggestions? Pwm or timing settings. My ultimate never ran this hot.
