Default First Time Inverted

Well I got up the nerve to fly my 600 inverted this past weekend. It was perfect and felt just like the sim. I was just practicing inverted hovering. I got a little braver and tried some forward inverted flight and lost it. In she went inverted. It wasn't too bad. New boom, TT, main blades, broke some linkages. Had it back together the next day. I have to figure out now a vibration in the boom. Oh well, we build, we fly, we crash. I'm totally hooked on this hobby.

Awesome! Not the crash of course. Sorry about that. But awesome that you got up the courage to flip it. I know exactly what you are going through.

That's me! Yes, I have decided to keep flying the Fusion for now. It's all ready to go to the field and the Rush is almost ready as well. It will be cool seeing them side-by-side. I intend to fly them back to back to see how different they feel. I guess I need to convert the Fusion over to Futaba before I can compare apples to apples though.

Excellent! I haven't ventured into the 700 realm, yet. I have enough keeping 3 - 600s flying. One I don't have flying, yet. The other 2 are down right now. I lost #1 servo on my Fusion 50. After the 4th flight following the rebuild after my crash, that servo started twitching out of control. Brand new Savox sc-1258TG servo. I have 15 flights on it. I'm not happy. It may have been injured in the crash. So I'm I'm trying to temper my temper. Anyway. I'm going to order a new one this week. I'm going to have to rename my self: Crash! Sheesh. Until my flying gets better, I'm going to stay with the 600 size. I have been wanting to see the Rush since it was designed by the same guy that designed the Fusions. Do you like how your Rush flies?

I love how the Rush flies! I hope to get out to the field today to re-maiden it after the crash.

Good luck with your maiden after your crash rebuild. That's always a very conservative flight for me. Still smarting after the crash. I need to get quicker at hitting TH. I need to practice that on the SIM more. My lame little DX5E I use on my SIM doesn't have a switch so I'm planning on putting a switch in the TH position. It has a plug where a switch can go, so I'm just going to mount a dummy switch so I can make certain to hit TH every time it wants to go in on the SIM.
