Default Probably a stupid questions, but...

I ordered an HK 450 clone that will be here in the mail soon (I hope, probably LITERALLY on the slow boat from China). It's the HK 450TT Pro V2 FBL. I need a FBL controller. I have a bunch of parts laying around, including a Naza Multirotor controller. Is there any way at all to make this controller work as an FBL system? I'm on a serious budget, so if this will not work I need an alternative. I was looking at the CC3D, but it appears that results are varied (but usually not satisfactory) with heli's. I saw the K-Bar controller for less than $30. I am very new to heli's. I got a couple of FB Trex 450's and a Trex 250 Pro in a trade. I was pretty good at hovering/takeoffs/landing the 250 on standard gear before I sold it. I traded off the 450's for something else before the bug bit me with the 250 - now I wish I had them back. Anyway, I can hover really well. My 250 had the Align 3GX MRS which was really simple to setup. Simple setup I don't care about. I'm a techy from way back. If it can be figured out, I will figure it out. I just don't want to have to do coding to make something work. What do you guys suggest for a dirt cheap FBL that will get me off the ground (if there's NO WAY to make the Naza-M work in a heli)?

I am also familiar with posting questions in forums, so:
I know cheap = low quality
I know I cannot expect a cheap option to work like the expensive options, but sometimes cheap hardware surprises.
I am not going to buy an expensive FBL system - please don't suggest it.
Yes, I did a search. With no results, I do not have high hopes for an affirmative answer to my first question.

Outside of this, any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

Did you ever figure out a FBL system? I am currently building the HK450TT pro v2 fbl myself. I am torn between the mini k-bar, cc3d and or the Tarot ZYX.

I decided to go with the blue mini kbar. After reading everything I could find, the kbar gets the best reviews. I will eventually be doing 3D flight, so I wanted something with a governor.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The problem is that we can't talk about some of the good cheap options so you'll just end up with responses like "get a robird/zyx/beastx; they're cheap, easy to setup and supported" to "don't cheap out on fbl; you need reliability, predictability, and a rescue function. They rarely break so you'll have it years and can transfer to bigger models. Get a neo/spirit/bd"
All of this is true except the zyx bit.

I have a CopterX, flashed to Tarot ZYX firmware sitting in a drawer. Will sell it to you for cheap, if that's what you are looking for.

Get a Spirit Pro. $230.00 and you WILL NOT find (at least I don't think you will) another true rescue FBL controller for that price. I have yet to see a bad review. I have one on a trex 450 and couldn't be happier.
