Out of all the heads I have seen and used up to now, this has to be the finest piece of machining I have seen yet.

Blades should be here by mid week, already received notification of shipment

If you believe this head is anywhere in the same universe as a Turnigy you need to look closer at RC-TEK's web site

Night, are you planning on eliminating the electronic stabilization on this build? With that large a rotor disc, I wouldn't think you would need it. Chris Bergen has been flying 50 and larger machines without electronic stabilization and it would seem to me that this might be the ultimate machine to make a foray into the FBL NOE realm.

Not quite sure yet Aram,
Will have to talk with Chris about that.

But it is turning out to be one LARGE mother..

And I figured I'll add insult to injury and try the broom stick boom

Hi Nightflyr...

The 900 looks Fantastic!

New Years sounds good to take it for a Maiden..

One day I hope to be even 1/4 as good as you...

I'll get the tail case fitted along with the rest of the boom assembly tonight.
Blades should arrive tomorrow, then the fun begins.

Right now it is fitted with a Scorpion 5020-450, FAD Mod1 (yes I still have some) 117T
10T Mod1 pinion.
Setup is 12S and to the dismay of some..ICE2-80HV but have a few larger backups just in case.
Just finished the construction...
One large beast...just over 6 feet from batteries to tail case.....
