I had the same dilemma. 600 or 700. I went with the 700 and I’m so glad I did. If you get the 600 you may be left wondering, “would if I had the 700?”. If you get the 700, when you fly it, you will know you made the right decision.

I would totally wait the 600 pro is nothing like the new 700 v3. Plus you will get all of the new align hv servos, instead of the ds610. You know what they say, but patience is a virtue. If I would have known the v3 was coming out, i would have not bought my f3c v2 (which just so happens to be new also. ) But not as new as I would have hopped it to be. I would have like to have the new tail pitch slider, and hv servos as well.

Looks like I'll be waiting a bit longer then. :-/

I wonder when we'll see an official announcement...

So yes it will be here.
I don't I think would be able to hold out if you asked me for info either...a pretty girl, soon to be a Doctor who can fix and fly helis, hard to top that...hope you don't find my post offensive, just paying a compliment.

no actually I thought it was pretty funny actually. Now if we can only see the silly pictures of the new 700 so we can all decide what to do. I heard the servos look super good but super expensive as well. I did order the new tail pitch slider as well, so that should be here tuesday and we will see how that goes. not quite sure other then the servos and direct servo link if there is any difference. I do know the had to change the main frames but I was expecting that.

A beefier main gear would be a step in the right direction, comparing the main gear from my Kasama to the main on my Trex 700 makes the Trex look rather "toy like"!!

anyone heard if a v2 to v3 upgrade will be available? if its just new main frames and servo mounts it could be an easy and relatively cheap switch

The new swash plate design will take care of that

You SoCal guys are a tease. Just leaking one tidbit at a time?

Ground up redesign, eh? I would think they would leverage the DFC head, bearing blocks etc.

So when can you guys leak a pic of this thing?

To make the frame stronger they would have to make the frame thinner and most likely mount the batteries on the side. That would mean new bearing blocks. Im betting this heli wont need any upgrades. Sure hope they mount the batteries on the side.
