Default throttle servo

hello all what throttle servos are you guys running on your nx4? Based on mt research can you run a tail servo for a tail servo as your throttle servo?

Thanks

You can run a tail servo as throttle servo but not a 760uS as I don't think any receiver will manage them well. If you use a 1520uS tail servo no problem.
I'm using a Savox 1250MG HV, the same as my cyclic servos.

The throttle servo doesn't need to be anything fast does it?

I have an old but unused JR servo that is probably only 0.12s/60deg and not much power but I figured it would be ok on throttle for sport flying?

I have SH-1250MG (0.11 Sec/60°, 4.6 Kg/cm) as cyclics, and a SH-1257MG (0.07 Sec/60°, 2.6 Kg/cm) going on rudder.

Ask yourself how fast a nitro engine is reacting and if you absolutely need a servo that move the throttle faster than the engine can really respond.
Any of the servos you have listed would be good imo.

If you are running on a 2s pack this is a good servo to go with for throttle. You don't need a lot of servo for that role.

As a rule you want your throttle servo to be just bit or much faster than your cyclic this keeps your nitro motor ahead of all the demands placed on it.
