Default Warp link

I just bought a used warp, seems like I have to adjust every link, can't figure out how to get the link off of the head at the swash?? Am I missing a special tool or something?

I typically use a ball-link plier such as these: https://www.amainhobbies.com/revolut...-rvo1005/p9472

I've got that one, and a curved one but there is no room on the swashplate. Unless I try grinding it down or something?

I don't have a Warp but typically I get extra room to wiggle in the ball link plier in between the link and the ball by setting the swashplate at an angle. Try moving one end of the swashplate so it is not perpendicular to the link before inserting the plier.

You have to pop both links off. It looks halfway on in the picture and the other link is preventing the swashplate from moving out of the way

I'm trying out a Bavarian Demon. Im only getting 11.5 collective and 6.5 cyclic and it ask for 9. Anyone have the ball link distance, it didn't come with the carbon stiffeners.

The manual states 15mm ball link distance which should give you enough throw.

My first kit came with the beefier links from the 7HV (02-0709s)

I saw no way to insert any kind of tool to pop the links, so I had to unscrew the ball from the swash

I'm going to definitely get a pair of those!
I figure taking the ball off might be the fastest , and do the least amount of damage

They do look good don't they

Someone mentioned they will limit travel though...not a problem for me - I'm a very sedate flier

The 360 size align blades are actually pretty good blades for 3d. Ive also flown the RJX vector and they were very stable blades.

I just unscrew the ball from the swash or unscrew the link from the blade grip.

I have mainly flown the Align blades but decided to splurge on a set of Halos last summer. The Halos seem to me to fly with far greater precision.

Align 360 3g work perfectly fine.
You can use this heli as a trainer, it is extremely stable even in the wind.

I went back to Compass Blades after trying the Align 360mm. I was getting more Blade Stall from the Aligns and found the Stock Blades better for my style of flight anyway.

Not sure what you mean by stall. Like a retreating blade stall or bog?

KBDD 350mm EE's are great Main Rotor Blades and work particularly well on the Warp!

Compass Warp 360, JR XG14 Transmitter, Robird 360 FBL Unit, KBDD Main and Tail Blades (4 min 50 sec)
PassinThru likes this.
