I would call them quarter piro flips. There is a 90* piro with a flip from upright to inverted.

Similar to the beginning of this video:

Technically that's what it is, I was wondering if it had a name of its own.

Don't think it has it's own name.

It's kind of a 180/360 prio-flip. (reasonably well done I might add).

Same can be achieved (kind of) by doing a combination aileron/elevator 1/2 flips (moving a mode 2 cyclic stick to a corner instead of along a single axis) without touching rudder at all.

Ok even if it doesn't have a name, I think I keep it. The alternating tail in nose in upright and the alternating right side left side in inverted looks symmetrical and nice. Since it isn't the Ball, how about No Balls?

It's true that you get some of the same effect by rolling on an angle like you said. Difference is however there will be no alternation like in the one above. I think the Nick Toc uses that.

When I saw the maneuver the first time it really seemed like a short version of the Ball. It is quite cool to watch and looks technical. "No Balls" wouldnt be the right name for it though cause you probably need some to try this out in real
