how about a video. was trying out my new edge 623's today. I have not flown the radikal for several weeks. this was my first flight with the new blades. found a crack in my mavrikk g5's so I pulled them off and ordered some edge blades. every thing was going good till the end of the video. you can watch the video and read the video info about what I think happened. heli was still sat down softly but was really close to getting all balled up.
fbl radikal g20 near crash (3 min 22 sec)

Default Gave my Radikal 30 a facelift.

New facelift on the Radikal G-30

Hansen modified G-26
Century pipe
Align 610/650 servos
Beast X
Futaba GV-1 gov.
A123 rec. pack
KBBD tail blades
Radix 690 SB main blades
Velocity 90 canopy
RJX FBL head
Futaba 12 FGH on 72 MHz

Flies about like my Trex 700 with a little less power. Very nice. The Beast X makes it very quick on the sticks with the 690 Radix blades.
The 710's work great too but I like the quickness of the 690's. The 710's will load up the engine if your not a little careful with collective management.

Weighs in at 12.5 lbs

More pics in my gallery. https://www.helifreak.com/album.php?albumid=7047

My Man-Cave is slowly taking shape. My Radikal G20 has found it's new home at the top of my desk. I've counted 15 fly days that I've missed since arriving in San Antonio. I've missed these days due to my TX and the rest of my household goods not arriving.
The movers picked up our main shipment in mid-December. It's looking like it'll be March before the slow boat arrives.
I'm half tempted to pick up a new TX and all the support equipment needed to fly just so I can get this bird off the ground.
