Default New Warp in the family

Just ordered a Warp (the 6-cell combo) from RotorQuest (excellent service by the way). Should be here tomorrow or Monday. I'm an advanced builder and love 'real' kits so I'm really looking forward to the build.

I've owned everything from Gassers to ultra micros over the years and it seems like I always end up flying the 450 size more then anything.

I'll be sure to post my impressions.

I have the following from another 450 build ready and waiting:

YEP 45A
iKON Flybarless System
TGY-306G-HV (X4)

I was concerned about the TGY servos after all of the bad reviews but they have been working great in a T-Rex 450 clone for about 50 flights so hopefully they are burnt in.

One thing I did before using the servos was to remove the case, inspect carefully and insulate the circuit board do there was no chance of a short. If they start acting up I'll go with the MKS 52a+.

Tim.

Just going to run them on the 5.5V BEC on the YEP ESC for now (6A linear). I'll try a 7.4V BEC (or maybe a 2-cell pack?) later.

Nothing but excellent and fast service from rotorquest!

It's a fun build too.

Yep it's fun, and its so nice and different from the Alignazed range of helis.
Can't wait to hear the tone of this full belt setup...not talking about that screech from the motor of course
