My first post and the Ufly is my first Heli. I've done my share of hitting the tail rotors but a few of those times was because I was getting no response from the tail rotor. Same issue, easily worn mesh gears. After taking the tail boom apart I found out the tail shaft bearings crept up into the tail boom so there wasn't a bearing by the tail rotor mesh gear that contacts the main gear. So the bearing was about 2 inches into the boom and that didnt keep firm pressure on mesh gear. You might want to check your out.
