Default Stock ESC Mounting question

Dierwolf, I seem to remember you posting something previously about not tiewrapping around the heatshrink on the stock esc. Is this right?? What is the recommended mounting method for the stock esc as I have just completed the stock Belt build but don't want to fry the ESC

NONO

you can strap around it if you want.

What i was saying was in terms of these people with ESC's catching on fire.

When it comes stock some of them have the main positive and negative wire for the battery or the motor wires Tightly strapped against the ESC, whereby the heat sink actually cuts into or melts into the wire and after a few flights short circuit..

NO yes you can strap it just dont strap the main leads against the heat sink.
