Pity it doesn't support 6s... Would love to share the forza450ex packs

Truthfully it doesn't need 4s or even 6s. It out performs an invertex on 4s with longer flight times while on 3s. I think keeping it light is the key to it's performance. I'm very happy with mine.

Considering 3S packs are dirt cheap, that's a really poor excuse to not buy one if you're actually interested in it...

Before I entered the RC heli side of things I never owned any 3S, 6S or 7S packs. Today I own lots of them. That said the 3S packs it uses are the same 3S packs thats used on 450 class helis which everyone and their grandmother has...

I don't own any sneakers so I'm not going to try any type of sports...

I bought 6 x TP 1300mah 6s packs for my Forza 450 build, if I had kept it 3s then I would have no problem buying this quad. I don't want any more small packs to handle / worry about

That's fine but you do realize your 6S packs ARE small, in fact they're puny?

My 6S packs are 5000mAh each and designed to be used in 700 class helis of which I have 5 airframes and 4 pairs of 6S packs. Also you do realize your "6S" packs are useless outside of your 450EX right? Unless you plan to build a fleet of little 450 helis running 6S packs...

If you want to "share" packs you go with a standard size and capacity, you don't go with oddball packs that only work with one aircraft.

Isn't that exactly what I wrote? I bought the 6s packs, IF I had bought 3s instead then I would have no delay in buying this quad. But I didn't do a 3s build on the 450, so now I'm not interested. I don't want a set of 3s and 6s small packs, much prefer to buy 6s 5000mah to go with a 700.
1 set of small, 1 set of big.

And that's exactly my point...ie your odd ball tiny 6S packs can't be used in anything else because it's specific to a small 6S 450 class helis. My 3S packs can be used in many things...cars, quads, helis...that's called good planning which enables me to enjoy all kinds of RC vehicles.

Well lucky I'm a helifreak and notaallkindsofrcvehiclefreak. Very happy with my choice to go 6s on the forza450, it rips! Don't see why you see the need to ridicule that decision.
enough off topic from me... Enjoy your Ninja 400's guys, it looks like a fun quad. :-)
