Default Avantgarde 600 Spektrum AR7200BX and SAB blades.

The new Spektrum AR7200Bx units have arrived in Australia. I had hoped they would be available before I finished ny heli but I had to fit a separate receiver and BeastX to get airborne on Christmas Eve. I will be getting one tomorrow and may fly it in the next week - at the moment my transmitter is being repaired so no flying. I will be able to remove the receiver and the three wires connecting it to the BeastX. Should tidy up things at the rear of the heli a bit.

If you are thinking about using SAB blades you should be aware that the root shape witll not allow them to be folded in the grips. The roots of the blades foul the end of the feathering spindle bolt. You can see in the photo that they are squarer than the Radix blades.

Hi,

this happens also on a few other birds. Normlly, if i do not mistake, it happens only when the blade rotates forward or backward ?

If yes, you cna just grind / dremel a little the blade on the angle, you will not be the first or the last to do it and the blade roots are all reinforced so there is no particular risk to remove a bit of hardware just in the angles.

BEst regards,

Fabien
