Default Jr Xbus and 14XG Questions

Guys,

Im looking for some information here, I have rang our local distributor for information but have hit a brick wall.

I am currently using a 9X on DSMX2

I want to move to a nicer radio (better gimbals and the 14XG seems to be the most bang for buck, even though im a pinch finger flyer (does the radio feel nice as a pinch finger…anyone?)

I use spartan FBL units and want to know if this Xbus is like the futaba Sbus system where you plug in one lead for all servos into the FBL unit.
I have read the instruction manual on the 14XG and couldn't quite work out if it will as it states about using some converter so you can use normal digital servos as opposed to the JR only servos.

Can someone clarify If i can do this ?
