Damn Rob that's a great idea for the carpet on the table! (I have the same folding table and towels just blow away lol).

What did you use, just a floor mat and cut/glued it down?

Cheers
Tim

Sorry I didn't see this previously, Tim.

Actually it was some left over boat trailer bunk carpet. I bought it at Boaters World a few years ago, and never opened the package. I used the 3M spray adhesive to bond it. I am recalling that Contact Cement didn't work as it didn't adhere to the resin of which the table is made. But the 3M spray seemed to do fine.

Default Completed my X50 TT FBL conversion

I just completed my conversion to FBL and overhaul

I added new KBDD main blades and a new canopy from canomod (after reading that they will custom paint any scheme on any canopy for no additional charge. <cough> Rob43<cough>). I picked their "Dragon" color scheme

I rebuilt the motor (ring, bearings), upgraded the head , Replaced all the fuel lines and clunk lines, Tore the entire heli down to parts and inspected\refurbished all the bearings and parts.

Still wavering on the 3GX but its installed and setup.

Just need a few weeks to get cleared to fly medically and some better weather to test
the controller

Wow, Taxus812...those pics look awesome with the sun and snow! Most colorful X50 I've ever seen! I saw the canopy in the background of your other post. Love it with the blades!

On another note, I wound up making a table cover from some of the cheap grade tool drawer lining as a fuel barrier. A table cloth, if you will. I added Velcro fasteners to the bottom of the vinly, using contact cement (self-adhesive from Velcro wouldn't hold), and it held nicely to the carpet.

Default Newly updated X50 B

Here are a few pics of my X50B that I made some changes to this winter so far. I swapped out the Redline with a new OS55 HZ-R (which I can't wait to spool up) cause I could never get the carb figured out on the Redline. I also made a new tray for my VBar and Switchglo which I also just added. Installed all new Savox digital servos with the red aluminum servo arms. I really love this heli and the way it flies specially with the Vbar controlling everything.

I'll have to pull the top fuel line off the tank or put another tee in the line just for venting. Good call out !

OK. I run a tee for that purpose and a KSJ line stopper clamp/line plug.

Loving the aluminium tail upgrade. What parts did you use for that?
