well my own fault I guess I'm flying in my driveway new a new place and there's woods on both sides for 200 feet I see them all the time but I would think the sound this thing puts out they would stay clear....

Holy cow!
I live and fly right beside a bird reserve - so plenty of them, also big Canadian geese. But normally they fear my "birds" and take off and fly away instantly. Some old badass ones don't lift an eyebrow though and just continue eating grass...

Yeah, you may want to find a more open spot to fly in - one where the birds can see the heli from far away. The sound of your heli reverberates off a lot of stuff, and for animals with more sensitive hearing than our own, it can be hard to pick out exactly where it's coming from. Still, two in one day?! That just sucks, especially since it's still a pretty new heli!

You mean to tell me a hummingbird took out your 500 in flight???
Sorry about your luck, more details please? I've chewed up big dragonfly switch my mcpx and figured a small bird would be nothing for a large heli.

So the bird made it crash? I don't see how that's possible on a 500. That sucks
