I'd want to fit it witha Spektrum RX and bind it to the DX6i though and I have no idea on several plank issues

1) Will I be able to come close to flying this guy?
2)How durable is it gonna be and how available are parts?
3) can I even fit it with a DX6i compatible reciever?

They say their receivers use Spectrum technology but wont bind with Spektrum TX's... I don't get it.

I saw a jet foamie a while back on a youtube video before I got into helis and really wanted to try and find that specific model as it was AWESOME. FAST, and durable! But I had no luck and found this guy in the process.
I've seen Top Gun 6 or 7 times, it doesn't look look that hard.

Hell, lots of Helicopters. Lots. Airplanes and Quads too.
Unless this is my wife reading this, then just a couple.

I have two pattern planes(I compete in advanced) various warbirds, sport and 3D plane and a trainer when I feel like making other pilots looks dumb by flying more 3D maneuvers it than they will do with their "3D" plane.

Without my confidence I wouldnt have been the first to do straight over the back flips and aileron rolls with a fixed pitch mSR X. LOL.

I like to just go for things and deal with the results later when I get confident LOL. Can be good or bad, probably bad if you happen to be made of pretty blue and yellow foam.

CHECK THAT... that's only 62 MPH... you cheeky metric fellows make it sound so dang fast LOL. I can handle that

I used to fly planes back in the 90's. my father and I scratch built them. It was great fun and a real buzz to see them fly.

The other day I bought a FMS piper cub, put it together, flew a circuit at the field and thought how boring this model is! sold it straight to my friend and went back to my heli's! No construction requiered, no set up, too easy i guess...

When i come home to the UK I still fly slope soarers with my dad... our old scratch built ones... and it's still a rush!

I'll admit it, I actually spent more on a plane recently than on any heli that I own. I got an 87" Extra, the bigger planes are a lot of fun. I only got into planes a bit over 2 years ago after flying helis for many years, it's nice to bring both to the field.

My first year flying planes and like it. I'm currently in love with this model:

http://www.goldwingrc.com/en/ProductView.asp?ID=195

I want the red one.

I'm really in love with that plane.

But need more space to work in and fitting in car might be problematic.

...and I've never built anything (started with an arf) and haven't had to fix a plane yet and have little plane experience so far (a whole different set of tools).

I am thinking about getting a Sensei trainer. It is the 1st thing I see when I visit my LHS... It got me thinking.

I am afraid if I start flying planes that I will forget my Heli orientations. Is there such a thing?

Well, it can mess with your muscle memory. Last time I flew my stryker, I got in trouble on the launch and hit throttle hold. I couldn't figure out why it kept going. I must have crashed it a half dozen times in about three seconds. For some reason, my left thumb didn't want to slam the left stick down.

I can see myself not wanting to "slam" the left stick down.
