Default My New Align Trex 700 Dominator

I have stepped into the big leagues and bought a 700 Dominator. All put together and going through the setup. I have some questions.

1 My servos seem jumpy not smooth. I have 3 Align BL815H and all 3 of them seem rough.

Skookum 720 with a spektrum receiver. With a pulse 2S 7.4V 5000 Mah battery.

2 How much pitch should I be able to get? I am about 11.8 positive and 11.4 negative.

Thanks for any help
Shannon

I can get close to 17 in both directions using a Beastx. Not that I am using that, I just checked out of curiosity during setup.

Thanks for the reply. I had to shorten my links from the directions so I could get 0 degrees on blades at mid range. Would you happen to know what your link length is?

When i had a sk 720 and trex 800 pro - I had to run the links one hole further out on the servos otherwise was well out of sk's optimum resolution. Dont recall jittery servos though. Youre on sk latest firmware , have servo speeds and frequencies set correct. ?

Yes I do have the I do have the latest firmware. I believe I have the correct servo setups. If I recall I did not see the Align BL815H or BL855H. I believe I am using the Align 610 and 620 in the setup. I am out of town and can not look at the setup of the SK720 for 2 weeks.

What would be the correct servo selection for the new Align BL series servos?

I have been reading and I might have wired in correctly. The power is directly into my receiver instead of power into the SK720. I am using a spectrum receiver connected to the SK720.

I am looking for the best setup possible so I have some questions to help finish this project. I am not in a hurry to get this in the air since it is winter in Alaska and I have other whirly birds to fly.

Questions
1) Should I use a standard receiver or just the spectrum satellites?
2) Should I use a reactor HVX?
3) What is the servo speed of the Align BL815H?

Check your sevo resolution. On my ikon I went with 333, thus made them a little smoother but they still feel a little gritty or something.
