Align used the word "pro" for torque tube tail on all the older models of all sizes. If it did not have that word in the name then it had a belt drive tail. I'm not sure if they still do that or not because I bought a Trex in a while.

Actually, the ESP was the first model with a TT, and no Pro anywhere in its name. Similarly, the 600 ESP had a TT, but no Pro in the name.

Not quite sure what you're asking there...

What are the differences between a DFC head and the new Align head? What are the advantages/disadvantages?

Seriously, there are only about a million threads debating that very topic. Honestly, I think the differences are too small to really matter. Fly what you want.

The DFC is for way more advanced pilots - flys awesome - crashes - expensive....

The conventional heads - the links act as fuse links - they pop off/break - instead of spreading the damage to vital components....

If you have unlimited skill - or unlimited funds - I would definitely go with the faster spin/roll that the dfc system sells - I mean sells lots of align parts....

-
Always thought it was a fail when align went to nothing but dfc offerings - at least for the new and intermediate pilots.....however its probably turned out to be a goldmine for align.

What's ur pleasure......
