Default 60 hz vs 200hz & 270 hz on sh-0257mg?

you said the 0257's were recommended to be run at 60hz but your attachment of picture showed the chart of sh-0257mg is blue 200 hz for swash plate frequency and is red 270 hz for rudder (tail) frequency. i am confused. or i may have misunderstood you on something else due to my weak english?

I run SH0263's/SH0264 on mine with the internal Talon BEC at 6v - no issues and I run 3750rpm governed with 14 degrees pitch. Handles it no problem.

The 63's are 200hz servos and the 64 is a 270hz servo, but some people run them at 333hz without troubles.

I don't know what all the talk above is about having to run them at 50-60hz? That is for analogue servos. All modern digital servos are capable of 200hz or more. If there was issues in that setup it was likely due to user error or a faulty FBL unit, shorted wire somewhere, etc.
i would not worry about the 63's are 200hz servos. but should i worry about the 64 is a 270hz servo? because the 64 is good between 200hz to 250 hz in savoz's recommend. but 270hz is extra 20 hz over the limit of capacity?

off the point for my curious, will these savox 63's and 64 work well with oxy 3 helicopter kit between same size of 250 class?

i notice many oxy 3 pilots use the kst ds215mg servos. my another question, which savox servos model that are matched to same size and capacity of kst ds215's servos?

When I first got the 0257s they did not appear on the equivalent Beastx chart as it did not include Savox servos. However at the time the Beastx chart did include the Align DS410 (which is a re-branded 0257), and it stated that the setting was 65hZ (and in fact it still does - see below)

So I am saying that there is some confusion from Beastx as they are saying that the same servo has 2 different settings

agreed conflicting info.... have Savox 257 on cyclics (300/450x @1520 - 200hz) run a 262 on the 300 at 1520 - 200hz and a 264 on 450 1520 - but brought the Hz down to 165 hz as it was getting warm while setting up when set to 200hz.

email I received from Savox USA

250 to 300 is the settings used most commonly

if you fit them, set the BX up without connecting first so you don't fry them, start low and increase 1 step at a time, if they start getting warm/hot to touch back off. There has been posts from people who have been unlucky and have this happen to them

Default hello savox users

Hi, does the SH-0257mg servo case need any alteration to fit in the elevator position?.....or does it drop right in? How about for the ailerons? tia

I found that they fitted ok, may need a little file on the servo's to fit frame or frame filed but not much mod needed, almost straight swap.

Thanks for your feedback. Amazon had both 0257 and 0262 on sale last week.....about $5 per servo savings. I'm going to replace the gears in my stock servos for now since I'll be crashing to learn 3D moves.
