Those are still relatively low RPM numbers. If it works for you that's all that matter, but I found my machine too sluggish at those RPMs. I run 3675rpm for my highest RPM. Given, i'm probably heavier than you, but still.

Stock 300's running V curves run at about 3800-4000 at full charge at 100% throttle and go down from there to about 3400-3500 or so by end of flight.

See that's the thing. People often get focused on what HS they run but didn't realize the fact that straight throttle curve (or fixed endpoints) running a certain HS is totally different than running governor set to that same HS and even more importantly different if the governor can actually hold that HS even under the heaviest load near the end of the flight. Setting governed HS at 3300rpm is one thing, but with koi-fish setting (assuming stock length main blades) governor should be able to hold those low HS even under the heaviest load, not such "set to" such and such governed HS. That's how I set governor HS. It has to hold that HS even under the heaviest load near the end of the flight.
