Default Like to Know Alternate Parts for the Radikal G20

I'd like to start a thread to find out what are the alternate parts from other manufacturer's that you have found to work well on the Radikal. I can start off with what I've done to mine...

1) Align metal swashplate
2) No name 10mm metal FBL head block for 10mm mainshaft.
3) Upgraded Raptor 30 metal wash-out levers.
4) Bergen M/R metal grips.
5) Bergen metal tail rotor grips

My G20 flies really well with these parts on it. I'm also using a BD3SX FBL controller but I'm having intermittent electrical power issues at the moment.

I've also heard you can use the TT 90 landing gear struts (they're higher).
Also the TT 90 tail boom if you use the Ghobee Stinger 90 belt with it.

Have you tried flying it with the stock parts?

Nope. Flying is only half the fun for me in this hobby, the other half is mods. That's why I have limited flying skills, (& other reasons I'm sure). I also don't believe that the G20 is wrought with issues. It may have been when it first came out but I think the issues have all been sorted. I know my new G20HD kit came, all parts were there, and of very good quality.
I've been in the aviation field working in a variety of maintenance positions for the last 40 years or so, & every time a new model comes out the service bulletins & AD's are, let us say...plentiful. But manufacturers step up to the plate in Aviation because they have to. FAA & TC mandate it. But more than that lives depend on it. The hobby world is mostly sales driven I think. Sorry if I'm rambling but, I like tinkering & putting together a kit the way the manufacturer tells you to is no challenge to me. So I throw in a bit of fun.
When I crash, it provides me an opportunity to study the results & if I can, improve the broken parts, sometimes (not often) it results in another crash...so the cycle goes on! LOL

So finally I hope with this monologue you can see a little bit more of where I'm coming from.

Add longer servo mounting screws to the list. With the G10 servo plates, the 12mm long screws are barely long enough to catch the servo nuts. I ended up using 2.5x16mm stainless bolts instead of the self tapping screws. The link balls in the kit are another area that I feel needs ungraded. I ended up using a combination of Align and FMP ultra balls on mine. The stock century links even fit the align or fmp balls perfect with no fitting required.

Thanks for the reply but I really started this thread not to highlight possible or potential issues but more for the use of parts that fit or can be modified to fit the Radikal G20. Issues should really have their own title to make everyone aware if need be. Every model I've ever purchased has something to improve upon. It's the first I've read about the servo screws mine seemed to be OK, but an issue like that should have it's own title & not be buried within this one. Just my thoughts.
