BTW, Erwin reminded me that he will try to post some live news from the club site while I'm flying tomorrow, like every 15 minutes or so, to keep you guys informed. So stay tuned. That will be from 2 PM (14.00 hours) for us down here, and it's now almost 9 PM friday here. So 17 hours left from now. CU.

So if I'm only getting about 8 min I'm OK then, am I not? My understanding is that hard bangers only get 4-5 min tops

You guys are pathetic, I'm gonna keep it up for at least an hour and a half.

T minus 5 hours now:
Charging the first five (out of a total of ten) batteries in parallel. Charging happens at only 0.5C, with the balance setting at "slow" so that it only stops balancing when charging current reaches 1/20th of the set charge current, to get the packs as full as possible. And at the field, right before take off, I will even top them off to 4,25 Volt/cell, instead of the usual 4,20 Volt/cell. It has al been calculated and tested before.

T minus 3,5 hours now.

Second set of packs is charging.

I just calculated that the heli will need to do at least 80.000 rotations in a row to break the world record. I hope it will last that long, lol.
