Love the concept, HATE the skids. If they bring it out like that I'll replace the skids with some black Gorilla Gears like on the mini Protos. Please don't make it look too much like a TDR, all those German helis might be innovative, but oh so fugly! A driven tail would be nice though, the Rave 450 with 350 blades autos really well, even inverted!

Now, don't take this as being overly critical, but I'd really like to see this live with a canopy on it because it seems awfully high. Maybe it's just the perspective, but that's the first thing that struck me. Other than that, it's an awesome, creative design that will be in my tired, old hands!

Cullen,

Thank you for posting that sir!

Aside from the Warp, the 6HV information was interesting as well.

Looks like the head got raised on the 6HV (per the Kettlehut mod), and the battery tray got lowered a bit. Also changes to the head.

Good information!

260 euro is $345, 340 is $451. Ouch! I'd still buy one though.
Is VAT included in that price?

Great if those prices include the VAT tax...should be a little less in the US.
Please tell me the kits will not be preassembled!

One thing I'd like to see is a "sensor placement" block. Something that you can put on the front that you use to align the FBL sensor. Currently, from the pictures, I can see folks, myself included put a block, tool handle, etc, against the pitch and aileron servos and use that to align the FBL sensor on the top tray. I mean, it's not a requirement, but it's a nice touch. I don't like eyeballing sensor placement.

shotgun34 (Marc) tells me that a lego block works excellent for alignment of the FBL unit.

I've always used the eyeball method, no issues so far. I do understnd the perfectionist approach however.

That's a great idea! The challenging one is the CGY sensor since it's not square. Another idea I had was notches or something on the skids so those that fly off smooth surfaces like a gym floor can strap on some split fuel tubing to prevent sliding around.
